Amway IBO Claims Billions To Be Made

I had an Amway IBO stop by a while back when I had stopped taking my meds. I must have been in one of my bitchy moods because he or she left a comment for me on a post where I provide a link to the top 50 cosmetics companies in 2012. IBO's take a look and sometimes freak out when Amway Artistry isn’t on the list. That’s partially due to it being a closed market for sales. The majority of customers are Amway IBO’s and you have to be a member of the Amway business club to purchase or know someone who is and buy from them. The rest of the people in the world can buy their cosmetics whereever they wish. But so what. Here’s a comment that was left:

Who's to say I am an Amway IBO? I came across this page whilst researching Artistry products and was disgusted at how rude somebody could be. Amway may not be your thing, it doesn't mean it won't work for anybody else. In fact, yesterday I was at dinner with my partner and a couple that have been a part of Amway for 25 years. Their income? Billions. Purely from Amway.

To which I responded something to the effect – Billions! Wow there’s Amway IBO’s who make more money than Oprah! I am missing out!

OK everyone have a good laugh now. But not too loudly!

Let’s start with where he or she – probably it’s a he – says how do you do, I’m an Amway IBO. Lets see. OK so far. Here's a question!. How do you know when someone in Amway is telling the truth? When their mouth is moving! Or in the case of the Internet – when they’re typing. a high majority people researching Artistry products are Amway IBO's. Nothing wrong with that! A lot of people in the world care a great deal about Amway cosmetics!

Let’s get to the good stuff! Amway IBO’s can earn billions!!! Wow! Holy cow that number has gone WAAAAAAAYYYYY up since we joined in the Amway business! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!

What an idiot! Well, what can you say, that pretty much sums up one or two of the people who can come on board the Amway fleet. I know the Amway’s owners are billionaires because they are listed in Forbes though I have no idea what kind of other investments they have but because they are billionaires some Amway IBO's like bragging about it all over the Internet. It's likely not all that money wouldn’t be purely from Amway. Unlike the dinner hosts the outraged IBO above knows!

So according to my outraged IBO commenter there’s another Amway IBO running around out there who makes billions purely from Amway and the media engine at Amway isn’t advertising this so everyone in the world knows about it? Well why should they? I don't see Coca-Cola bragging about what their executive earn either!

And is a billionaire going to invite some lowly IBO to dinner? Of course. Happens all the time!

So who are these mysterious Amway billionaires? The person who left the comment won’t say. I reckon he or she meant Dexter Yeager and company!

Lets see. Lets chalk that up to ann exited slip of the tongue comment from another Amway IBO.

These inexperienced Amway IBO's can sometime do a little damage a company that already has a mis-understoon reputation. And sometimes make themselves look like assholes while doing it.

Yeah but we understand. Amway billionaires are out there!

Oprah, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Mark Zuckerberg – you all got in the wrong business! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!

The Amway IBO Hit List

I'm not really sure why I wrote this but looking back I now see that some of my thoughts are completely wrong so I am going to make some corrections here and there!

Once an IBO has had enough of being love bombed to death by Amway business members and losing money in the Amway business building scheme and then quits Amway, they now find themselves on the Amway IBO hit list. --- I don't even know what that means anymore!

The Amway business is a fucked up religion that worships money. --- Not true! They lure in prospects with promises of riches and hype them up to believe that all their dreams of material possessions will come true thanks to Amway and that in 2 to 5 years they will be rolling in dough with gazillions of dollars in residual income every month and they’ll never have to work again.--- Considering that Amway does not actually recruit people at all I am not sure what I'm thinking here!

What comes to mind to most people is a get rich quick scheme. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably isn't. If it was this easy to get rich quick everyone would be doing it. People would be pushing each other out of the way to sign up for Amway instead of how it's really done with IBO's being sneaky that the big business opportunity is the dreaded A word and tricking prospects to come to meetings. --- The truth is that many people join Amway every day and are having incredible successes!

The Amway business offers instant friendship. And extremely affectionate instant friends. Demon friends!--- Really! There are no demons in Amway! Over the top IBO's who hang on to your every word with dumb grins on their faces as if you are the most fascinating person they’ve ever met, hand out overly zealous compliments, and want to hug hug hug! And squeal and scream whenever they see you like you’re a long lost friend they haven’t seen in 20 years instead of some ambot they ran into last night at an Amway cult meeting.---Truth is I've never really met anyone like this at any of the meetings I go to. If they were there they would soon be told to shut up!

Eventually most IBO's wise up and quit the scam.--- What scam? Had enough of the Amway pyramid scheme!---Again most intelligent people know that Amway is not a pyramid. Not sure where my brain was when I wrote that!

Quitting means stop buying overpriced Amway products = no PV for the IBO or any of the leaders in their Amway upline. Oooohhhh!!!!!!! That really pisses off those upline Amway assholes! Angers them to no extent. Amway friends are only your friends as long as you’re handing over money to them. They only like you for your money and how much money they can make off you. There’s gotta be some reason behind why they put on that phony ass “I love you” routine.--Again not exactly true. We quit the business some time back but rejoined because we really do believe it's the best thing out there since sliced bread. All our Amway uplines have been really supportive!

The IBO stops attending Amway meetings. That means less money under the mattress of some leader in the Amway upline. Whoever it is - Diamond or Emerald - who is not making as much money as he’d like at the last business meeting will ride the ass of the business leaders in his downline. “Where’s my money!!!! Sign up more IBO's!!! I need a fucking Mercedes!!!!”---This is clearly nonsense! I make these guys sound like Hitler. The truth is the true leaders in this business are constantly adding people into their own and their downlines groups!

Nope the ambot who quit won’t budge and won’t hand over no more cash. They’re realized they’re not making fistfuls of money in Amway. Its nearly impossible to find customers to buy overpriced shitty Amway products.

They can’t find prospects to come to Amway meetings much less sign up to be an Amway IBO. They cut their losses and stop.---New prospects sign up every day of the week!

Maybe they actually liked some of the leaders in their Amway upline and want to remain friends with them.

Nope won’t happen. Amway friends are only your friends as long as you’re handing money over to them. You are OUT!!!!---Never been the case with me and Kerry!

At the next Amway business meeting the sack of poo Platinum gets the word out to the other team members to ostracize the IBO who left the flock. They lost their dream. Their dream wasn’t big enough. They didn’t try hard enough. They had an unsupportive wife. They listed to too many dreamstealers. They became negative. Usually a one hour rant in the next Amway busines meeting. Maybe the next few business meetings. The sack of poo Platinum needs some material to entertain the business followers for 3 or 4 hours.---I just made that last bit up to keep the story flowing. The reality is that all our uplines care about the people in their downline but do understand if people wish to leave. Hey this business is not for everyone!

About 6 months or so after mu huband initially quit the Amway business we ran into an IBO at the gas station. He went over and said hi to him while I filled the tank. The IBO smiled at him and said he wasn’t supposed to talk to us.--Not true! He actually invited us around for dinner!

Gee who would have handed down that command?---No one did!

The sack of poo Platinum?

Yup. We quit Amway and ended up on the IBO hit list!---Doesn't even exist!

I can’t tell you how devastating that is to me! Ha ha ha!---?

Like I really care that a bunch of business leaders from Amway don’t want to associate with us!---I would really be hurt if I thought that would happen!

So that’s how you end up on the IBO hit list.---The only hit list I know is where every body building this business is a HIT with their family!

You want to quit Amway!---Don't do it!

Freedom is staying with the Amway business!

Amway Teaches Women To Sell Their Bodies And Souls

Is this story made up?

Here’s a tactic that I don’t remember being taught in any meeting I was part of because the women attending Amway meetings were married and maybe that little detail would have stopped them anyway. But there were a couple of single women hanging around, though I think they all had boyfriends, so perhaps when they counseled with upline it came up. Part of Amway teachings is to teach women, though again I’m not sure if this is part of the Amway training for married women, could be I suppose, to basically improve (looks wise) themselves to recruit more men into Amway. Seeing as how I was never part of this training of how women were to appeal themselves better to men I can only guess. Put on more Artistry makeup? Yup go out and buy some more to put on your face. I guess men must find that soooooo attractive. Were women trained how to dress? I can't remember listening to any Diamond’s CD and hear them talking about how IBO's should dress or the message to women attending Amway meetings not to dress like a slut. Though that could be the message some women use when prospecting men into Amway. The picture I'm getting is that women should seduce a man to join up with the Amway business. Of course most men think with their brains and if a woman is coming on to them they can usually spot what they’re interested in. So an IBO woman is all over the man and she is trying to say with her looks hey I’ll get it on with you if you spend $200 to sign up with Amway. Nah! That’s not what they’re teaching women in Amway! Incredible that someone should think that! But then it doesn’t surprise me that some people are strange. Here's a readers story.

Actually, your story is rather similar to behavior I’ve observed from a sibling of mine involved in this. They become friends with strangers, or even pretend to carry on a relationship with anyone just to get to that individual’s friends and family! My niece is incapable now of differentiating people and business. According to my niece’s upline… “Every minute you’re not prospecting someone, you’re losing money!” She specifically flirts with guys to get them to lower their guard against this type of thing. They of course do give in, but not before wanting ‘a little-something-something’ in return!

She once told how she had ENTICED this guy into signing up, but had agreed to going to HIS place to complete the prospecting. Unfortunately for her, the guy wanted a LITTLE favor in exchange for his COOPERATION (she of course didn’t go through with it, and was furious about it), if you know what I mean. I became frantic and questioned her about this, wondering why she would put herself in danger of being raped just for a few dollars and a prospect. She explained to me her upline’s wife had TRAINED them on how to appeal more to the male prospect and use that tactic to manipulate a new prospect into signing up. From what she said, the husband (her upline) was training his guy-ambots on how to do this same exact thing with women-prospects. How to use their charm to entice women to join the business. This deceitful behavior is disgusting, it’s appalling how they have to WHORE themselves out for a dollar a week! Also, my niece takes out that lip-gloss that lights in the dark to get women prospect. I’ve seen this work in person. We were at a wedding, where she automatically got a few women interested in that lip-gloss light thing right after she took it out!

If you think something like this is happening in your group let me know or call Amway HQ and tell them about it!

Dream Stealers

Dream Stealers.

It almost sounds like alien invaders descending from an unknown universe ready to suck out the part of your body where your dreams are kept.

I constantly heard the term “dream stealers” during Amway meetings and then parrotted by my husband.

In an accusatory tone he used to condemn our friends and relatives who didn’t support his business as dream stealers. “They’re trying to steal my dream” or “they don’t want my dreams to come true”. Those were terms he threw at me too as counselled by the leaders in his Amway upline. I was very negative about Amway at the time and I deserved what I got!

Its a stupid term anyway. It is used as a lame excuse by some IBO’s to justify their failure at not making money in Amway. Everyone else is a dream stealer. Always blame other people.

There’s a Disney song about how a dream is a wish your heart makes. If your dream is in your heart then no one can steal your dream. Not without some surgical tools to slice you open and kill you by removing your heart.

So what was mu husbands dream? It was whatever the upline told him his dream was. He was new and didn't know better. It had something to do with leaving me. That was the upline’s dream more than it was his. I don't blame him. I am a real bitch sometimes.

But how many of those upline leaders ever asked me once what my dream was? Not a single one of them. I mean really, why would they? None of them cared that about me to ask.

And they all probably could take a good guess at my answer: “To get my husband the hell away from you bastards and quit Amway!!!” Of course that's all changed now!

What about IBOs who leave the business. They’re also called dream stealers. They’re poison. Stay away from them or they’ll steal your dream too.

A dream is a thought, an idea. Its in your head and in your heart. Its not an actual entity. I’m not sure how you can lose something that is not an object like losing your car keys or your glasses. Or the cat got out of the house and is lost. Or I lost my husband again at Lowes. Someone can steal the keys, the glasses, the cat, maybe even my husband as attempted by the Amway business leaders. If someone steals your car you call the police to report the theft. How can someone steal your dream? Actually they do it by getting you discoraged. It took me a long time to figure that out.

Here’s how I used to think. Here's an imaginary conversation when a really stupid Amway IBO phones the cops:

“Aw, gee, my next door neighbor is a dream stealer and he stole my dream of owning a Porsche. I demand you arrest that son of a bitch and charge him with theft!”

“Dream stealers” is just one of many interesing things I’ve heard spout from the mouths of trained IBOs. Dream stealers can be further defined as losers, failures, and people going nowhere who want to drag you down to their level. Not intentionally but sometime people don't want you to have what they think thay can't get.

The unfortunate reality about “dream stealers” is they are sometimes people who love you and don’t want to see you fail, lose your money in a scam, and suffer from any kind of distress.

Dream stealers have an alternate point of view from the upline and that makes them dangerous people - at least in the eyes of the sack of most Platinums and the other leaders in the Amway upline because they could be responsible for letting your dollar signs slip away.

Is it a bad thing to listen to the “dream stealers”? YES! Aswell as stealing a dream they are really giving bad advice. IBOs think the “dream stealers” are being negative and trying to “steal my dream”. This is true. All they’re doing is trying to prevent the IBO from making good business decisions.

Remember those alien invaders who are sucking the dreams out of your body? They’re not so alien after all. The real dream stealers are the people who actually surround you most of the day. Watch out!

Everybody Needs An Amway IBO Neighbor

Here's a nice laugh for the day! Everybody should dream to have an Amway IBO neighbor

Getting Recruited Into Amway Part 2

This is a continued story and I want to say here that a lot of people figure out really quickly that getting into Amway is a great decision to make and they try to make the best out of it and look forward to making their money back. And then they say hallelujah and run with it.

So after another hazing meeting with the IBO leaders my fiancé and I agree to join up. we fill out all the paper work pay our 'sign on' fee and get everything underway, we get signed up with WWDB and this conference line called Communikate which is the probably the most frustrating thing to use and at 40 a month holy crap that's half my phone bill that I ACTUALLY USE. I don't really think we need but but hey!

So here we are we this business, we are kinda excited cause we get a retail site and etc and we are making the best of it together.

So my upline IBO friend is all excited that we are about to place our first order and we can start making money and be debt free in 12-18 months! I must have missed the part that you had spend 300 dollars just to hit your mark and have other people spend 150~ dollars just to help you hit your mark. After doing the math I would make a whopping 4 dollars extra bonus at first, but wait! I would also get a $50 for a newcomers sign on bonus if I hit my mark!

This is partially my fault for not doing enough research or asking enough questions so I am now in the making the best of it mode.

90% of the products on the site I don't even buy anyways, but I was going to spend money to buy this stuff anyways? I do like their shakes and energy drinks, but I don't buy them on a monthly basis, I don't buy cleaning products on a monthly basis, maybe one every other other month, so now we are finding customers to buy enough to hit our mark and we are up 300 or so dollars for that? $54 bucks that shows up on the 15th.

I was so excited and one foot out the door to celebtrate WITHIN 24 hours of being in amway/WWDB. I texted my upline even though he prefers Kate, but seriously? That system takes like 5 mins to send a 5 second message, talk about adding 9 steps to something.

He calmed us down by saying it just the initial 'shock' that everyone goes through etc etc. I was like whatever man and just went with it. I began to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I figured we were testing all the products and we should see what we should try to give out as samples so the initial cost was whatever.

Then came these optional meetings twice a week for 3 hours starting at 8pm. I didn't think it was that bad but sometimes it was the same people and same presentation.

My fiancé and I were getting extremely demotivated for some reason. As I mentioned before I already figured out the business idea 24 hours in and felt a little bored but tried to turn into a positive.

We went to attend the free enterprise meeting and we walked up to the door and saw the tons of IBO's lining up and about to go in to listen to speaker speak his words of wisdom on how to get rich. We were I think 2nd in line and we were like this is cool and got the best seats and left right after and spent 20 bucks later on a good dinner lol.

I got calls and texts from my uplines asking where we were. I told them we were with a couple of young downlines who didn't want to do this anymore (I did not want to offend so I Didn't say go away I'll deal with this etc etc) and that they were just going to buy and sell LIKE A NORMAL RETAIL SITE DOES. I got a text from my friend IBO and then he tried to call me I was like dude they say this is not what it was presented, even after listening to your CDs it all makes sense. There is a reason they say why you hide the fact its Amway cause of all the bad press it has. You are forcing yourself to believe in something that's not true. Then he tries and say don't listen to no one else just do your research on THE WWDB AND AMWAY sites, o ok cause that's going to be reiable opinions, and only talk to people 'in the business' about stuff o yeah cause IBO's are totally gonna tell the truth of ok bro amway is cool I'll do that lol.

He speaks of power of association, and tries to tell me not to listen to people who don't make a lot of money cause you will be BROKE like them. Hey guess what I make more money than you and 90% of the people that are at your meetings why would I listen to you about making money?

But he is right! Although some of those people he is 'tied' into make their money not from selling amway products but from the monthly fees you pay and for buying tickets to their training seminars. Not everyone does that and the ones who stick to the plan usually succeed.

He got his upline to call me and wanted to have 'a man to man' talk about my concerns and I told him, this upline had a response to everything and he was saying o first you must care about your fiancé if you are just gonna trade time for money like everyone else with a job. I was like are you serious? What I do love is having a business that pays me and not a job that I have to pay it so that I can pay for all this nice stuff and house so that my fiancé and I can come home to dipshit.

O here is my other thoughts about Kate, this thing is sucha POS and 99% of the shit messages I get on there marked 'urgent' is from the platinu or diamond saying how he went to the doctors and his vitamin B levels are low or that he just got out of the shower and wanted us to know he's FIRED UP about how well we are doing. I am learning so much from that input but I really do not like the Kate system.

Seriously? I am paying 40 bucks for a fucking facebook hotline I have to call/login into every few hours? No fucking thanks. I cancelled that shit so fast along with the 'learning' material.

I still do have the site as being a member I get 40 bucks off my phone bill along with other perks that makes up for the 50 bucks I pay a month on it. And I do enjoy some of the products, I do my research and compare prices, I have my opinion of quality. Why the hell would I buy regular laundry detergent for the same price as SA8 clean? Oxy clean works like ok costs the same price and comes with less the amount.

Anways my IBO friend still invites me to the Family reunion that happened last week in Portland. I go but I spend my $555 bucks elsewhere cos I live 10 minutes away why the fuck would I pay for a hotel?

Anways I hope someone enjoys reading this and as I do enjoy reading the blogs and watching the dateline exposing crappy mlm's that are funny straight up cults.

Getting Recruited Into Amway Part 1

One of this blog’s readers was nice enough to share his story about the process of getting recruited into the Amway business. Things are constantly changing within the Amway business. Some IBO shows up again into the prospect’s life, talks about the exciting once in a lifetime business opportunity and now’s the time to get in on the ground floor. Well that's not the new Amway. You’re a few decades too late! Those lines are old. Amway's a new deal out in full force. Its all here. This is everyone’s story. Due to the length this is a 2 part story.

Mid June of this year I get a message from an IBO on a social networking site out of the blue, I mean I've known the guy for 8 years we went to school together had the same car hobbies, but we haven't spoken in a year since we ran into each other at a store a while back.

He messages me asks me how I am doing etc, tells me to text him and we start talking again. He asks if we can meet up to catch up at a local restaurant. So I am like sure why not we get to catch up and I am hungry anyways.

We meet up and we do a little catching up, he asks what I do for a living, etc, and then he mentions how he's working on a 'eCommerce' with a bunch of business partners. So I got a little curious and asked whats it called and what do you 'do'? He didn't tell me the name, but he said that he 'redirects' customers to fortune 500 companies like best buy and sears etc.

He mentions power of association, and that hes connected to the 'right' people. All of which sounded like he read from a script he just put his own flare into it.

I was very neutral about, so I was like 'that's cool that you are doing something' and we just ended with 'we should all go hang again with our girls like a double date or something.'

I don't remember how many days later (wasn't long but lets say 2) he texts me again asks if my fiancé and I are free 8pm on a certain day. I say sure because I am assuming it is this double date he was talking about. Turns out it wasn't obviously. But hey! We show up at his house and there are people are dressed up in suits and might I add these kids are young I am talking like 19 or so and haven't even scratched the surface on 'making a living' or the 'real world' outside the tv show.

So we just sat down and this older dude shows up who is his business partner, he comes in intros himself and starts this presentation stopping every now and then to ask wouldn't it be cool to do such and such and buy such and such with all this money and time? Of course hard to disagree, yeah I would pay off my house if made x amount more. He goes off on how little risk/money it is to get started and if you are a slow starter its fine we have mentors and sponsors to help you get your business going.

Now I am a very analytical person I do financial statements and reports all day long as my career.

I live off the mantra of if its too good to be true it probably is and if it were so easy everyone would be doing it.

But for some reason that night I was like hell why not just look into it? If it costs 100 bucks a month why the hell not I can afford that, that's nothing. My fiancé was fine with it cause she just wanted to support me.

So I show that we are interested and etc, and we get invited to another meeting to meet this 'millionaire' retired at 40 sack of shit platinum as you may call them lol.

I go to this meeting at another IBO's house and holy crap they fit as many people as they could into this mid sized living room, we even got people sitting on the counters in the kitchen and such. Might I add again some of these kids are 18-23 and some older in their 30s and maybe even 40s. But majority of youngsters

This platinum level guy talks on and on how hes connected to the right people, used Costco referral as an example of Amways greatness, and if you get 6 legs and those 6 legs get 6 more legs you can make 5k a month 60k a year with 5-15 hours of time a week. You can retire in 12-18 months and be debt free! The whole crowd is going wild nodding and agreeing clapping and hooting for this dude and I am just sitting there thinking Holy Cow? He goes on and on about how Amway has a bad name cause of X reason and that you shouoldnt listen to X reason and experience it yourself and be the judge for yourself. Now, I have heard of Amway before but I didn't know anything about it so I didn't think anything of it.

He talks on about how you should 'redirect' your spending and others spending habits to go through your personal website. You will pay the same or less is what he says and you generate a commission for 'redirecting' business.

He talks about how you need to do 100pv and get others to do 50pv, but he doesn't yet mention how much it takes to hit those marks. He said we were going to use X amount of money at so and so shopping center anyways so why not just buy from yourself and make/save some money??? Cool idea I'm thinking!

So after the meeting my IBO friend has me meet this platinum at a 1 on 1 and he's like you are a sharp guy you would do great in this 'business' and I was like sure I can look into it more I mean $100 bucks a month is squat and 10 hours a week is whatever anyways.

I go home and do some minor research on Amway and I got a lot of goods AND bads. This was before I found this blog lol. So that did something to help me along fortunately.

(to be continued….)
